UEMTA Internship Booklet

My name is Jaley A. Montgomery. I am the outgoing president of the University of Evansville Music Therapy Association (UEMTA).  At the most recent GLR conference, I described an internship booklet that UEMTA has put together.  The booklet went over with such success with the students at the meeting, I wanted to take a moment to share our project with all of your student associations.

The internship book we created includes the following:
-A timeline, stating where you should be in the process of choosing and applying for an internship through your college career

-Important factors to take into consideration when choosing which sites to apply for

-Questions that are typically asked in an internship interview

-Helpful interview tips

-What to expect in an interview

-What to do when you get accepted into a position

-Sample Letters of interest, Letters of acceptance, Letters of declination, and résumés

-and many more helpful tidbits...

The best part of the booklet is the cost.  All of this helpful information can be delivered for only $4.50 including shipping and handling.

Students at the University of Evansville have been using the booklet (updated Spring 2006) for several years and have given it high recommendations.  I personally used the booklet to guide me through the internship process. The booklet became a standard read each evening and a crucial tool through the entire internship process.

UEMTA would like to share this booklet with you.  In this e-mail is an order form. Simply print and fill out the order form, mail it to the given address with the payment for the books that you order and we will mail you the booklets.
